By car, boat, bicycle, plane, bus, and on foot, millions come to Worcester County every year. Folks come to bathe in the sun and surf at Ocean City. They sail, hunt, fish, hike, bike, watch birds, paint, photograph, windsurf and catch crabs on the bays, rivers, ocean and inlets. Some come to delve deep into the history of the Eastern Shore which was unconnected by road to the mainland as late as 1952. Whatever the reason...it keeps them coming back again and again. And some, well, they just never leave because they like the country and the people so well.
